FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How can I bid?

Bidding is only open to registered users. Sign up here. If you are already a registered user, as long as you log in you will be able to bid.

2. How come it’s only letting me bid a certain amount?

In addition to most of our auction lots having a starting bid, which is the minimum amount that we will sell the auction lot, they are also set up to have a bid increments. These bid increments vary depending on the estimated value of the item and amount of the starting bid.

3. How will I know if I’ve been outbid?

If your bid is winning, you will see a stamp on the product indicating that currently your bid is the highest bid. In the event that you are outbid, you will receive an email.

4. How will I know that I’ve won?!?

If you have the highest bid at the close of the auction lot, you are the winner! You will receive an email congratulating you on your win and prompting you to pay for the item.

5. What is the Buy Now option?

Some of our auction lots have a Buy Now price. If a bidder is anxious to end the auction, they can opt to purchase the lot for a straight price. This ends the auction. We reserve the right to remove the Buy Now price at any point during the auction.

6. Do your lots have a Reserve price?

Yes, some but not all of our lots have a reserve price, which is a hidden minimum price.  It is the lowest price that we will accept for the item.  If the listing ends without any bids that meet the Reserve price, then we are not required to sell the item. 

7. Can I retract my bid?

No you cannot. In order to maintain the integrity of the bidding process we do not allow retraction. Each bid that you enter is a binding legal agreement to purchase the lot at the price if you are the winning bidder.
